No, this is a private service, we can only issue a private prescription and you will need to then purchase the medication.
If you prefer, you can take your report to discuss with your own GP and not use the private prescription.
You must purchase the medication on your private prescription at a pharmacy, and costs may vary. You can enquire at your pharmacy for the specific cost of the medication.
You can purchase the medication by taking your private prescription to a pharmacy. We will post a copy of the prescription to the pharmacy you nominated in your consultation. If no nomination was received, we will post the prescription to your contact address.
If our doctor has recommended medication, we will usually issue a private prescription for upto a maximum of 1 months treatment, after which time you would need to have a further consultation or see your own doctor to discuss a continuation of medication, there are some medications that cannot be prescribed remotely. We can only issue a prescription if you have given consent to us infoming your own GP. Our doctor will inform you in your assessment if there is reason that a medication cannot be prescribed.
We aim to assess your case within 48 hours. The cases are assessed in the order in which they are received, at busy periods delays may be experienced.
